The CBBC refresh with a mission to inspire the next generation of dreamers, innovators and creators.
When building this digital-first brand identity for the BBC’s children’s channel one of the first tasks was to create a single bold logo marque that works seamlessly in the multiscreen world of the young audience.
A versatile and dynamic logo
Creating a single logo marque produced a bold design that ensures the brand works powerfully and responsively in the multiscreen world of the audience.
The distinctive shapes in the marque were conceived to become a moving property, the logo itself constantly moving and adapting whilst the OSP system with graphics all flowing vertically results in a non-stop and fun information display.
“We are now the proud owners of a versatile and dynamic logo which works in every space and is designed to appeal to both ends of our broad age spectrum. Whether on large-screen TVs or hand-held devices our new brand identity is bright, mischievous and sophisticated – just like the CBBC audience who helped us to choose it and have told us they love it! ”
